Modern Jive in Uruguay: the South American Experience
After long time planning, contacting, implementing, adjusting logistics and quiet a few rehearsals
Modern Jive went into Uruguay- South America for the first time ever in Autumn 2007. That was my
dream for long time...to take back to my origins one of my  big passions: dancing. That first
experience had a sequel during  last year 2008.

A group of Australians made it possible. Along those two years we danced  and entertained big
crowds in shoppings centres, premier Montevideo night clubs, TV  shows, beach parades, festivals
and sport clubs. We also received media attention from radio and newspapers alike.

Although we mostly danced Modern Jive, we also danced for the first time ever West Coast Swing.

This  my personal and sincere homage to all those that made possible. Without you guys it would
not have  happened. Many thanks to you all!!
